It was not Shabbat at my house without Fasoulia on the table. My dad used to make this every single week. You can eat it alone, or over rice, or with Israeli salad, or over rice with Israeli salad and challah on the side to soak up all the juices. Guys, this is a winner!

1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in pan. 2. Add 1 large diced onion and 5 cloves of garlic, sliced. 3. Saute for 5-10 minutes. 4. Add 1 pound of beef chuck chunks or stew meat. 5. Add 1 rounded tablespoon of tomato paste. 6. Add 1 rounded tablespoon of Osem chicken powder, 1 rounded tablespoon of paprika, and 1 teaspoon of cumin. 6. Add 2.5 cups of water.

7. Add a bag of frozen cut string beans. 7. Cook on low/med heat until beef is tender, about 2.5 hours.
