Ingredients:
3 cups of ground flax seed meal
2 cup of water
1 teaspoon of herbed sea salt I use A.Vogel
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until a dough forms.
Spread the dough evenly onto a parchment lined or silicone baking sheet. (DO NOT USE FOIL!) I used a 18 x 26 inch baking sheet. If the one you are using is smaller, use two baking sheets. Otherwise, the crackers will be very thick and will not cook properly.
Score the dough into squares so it easy snaps apart after its baked.
Bake on 375 for about an hour.
Check on the crackers every 20 minutes, you want to make sure they are getting golden and not burning.
I store the crackers in the fridge.
If you did not spread the mixture evenly the center crackers can come out a little chewy. That's fine, but if you do want them crispier just put them back in the oven for a little bit longer. Or, you can toast them before you eat them.
This recipe makes about 18-21 crackers.
